Mini Movie

Description:
Students will have an option to use: Windows Movie Maker, Photostory, Animoto, Photoshow or other editor to create a movie about advertising their school. This project will provideĀ  students with the opportunity to learn the basics of video editing.

Objectives:
The student will be able to:

  • Import images into a collection.
  • Add images to the movie time-line.
  • Add descriptive text for each image from their storyboard.
  • Add a title and credits to their movie.
  • Export the movie so that it can be viewed by others.

Directions for MovieMaker:

  1. Preview finished movie example
  2. Open Windows Movie Make
  3. Save your file in your grade folder in the MovieMaker folder as FirstLastName_Movie
  4. Import 5-6 school pictures located in the MovieMaker folder in your grade folder.
  5. Place on the timeline
  6. Add title at the beginning
  7. Add credits at the end
  8. Add text overlay to pictures (this can also be narrated)
  9. Add transition to enhance your movie
  10. Save/Export your movie file to view in Windows Media Player.
